Zhang Jun, Professor, Fudan University & Director of The China Center for Economic Studies
 
Prof. Zhang is one of Chinas leading economists with a large number of publications in Chinese and English. He is a respected financial commentator and his views on Chinese economy have been widely cited by domestic and international medias, including Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, New York Times and South China Morning Post.
 
Zhang Jun has been teaching and researching in the areas of China's economic transformation and development. He has been on the editiorial board of Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, East Asia Policy, China Social Sciences Review, China Economic Quarterly, China Economic Journal, China: An International Journal and World Economic Papers. He holds Adjunct Professorships at a number of Chinese universities, including East China University. He teaches EMBA-programmes at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and School of Management and Economics, Shanghai Jiaotong University. Since 1997 Prof. Zhang has held visiting professorships in Washington State University, London School of Economics, SOAS, University of London, Aarhus Universitet, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Harvard University, Kyungpook National University i Korea and World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER).
 
In the Annual Danish Top Executive Summit 2012, Professor Zhang Jun participates jointly with Arvind Subramanian in Martin Wolfs panel 'Will world-trade imbalances lead to a trade war?'.
