Hasso Plattner:

Hasso Plattner co-founded the German software giant SAP with former IBM colleagues. In 2003 he retired after 30 yeas as CEO, and is now Chairman of the Board. Hasso Plattner is regarded as one of the worlds most prominent and influential figures in IT, and is one of Germanys largest philanthropists. In 1998 he donated 2.1 million SAP shares (then worth $1.5 billion) and founded the Hasso Plattner Foerderstiftung, which supports the sciences, historical preservation (a.o. Potsdam Stadtschloss for abt. Eur. 20 mil.), and projects in South Africa focusing on underprivileged children.
Hasso Plattner is unfortunately unable to come to Copenhagen in January 2012, but has kindly accepted to participates via video in an interview by Clement Kjærsgaard - with the title: ”Europe is Sleeping’. Is he right?
